How can I change
the layout menu? |
 |
 |
You can change the layout using the Change Layout
menu button.
- Click the "Change layout menu" button.
The "Layout menu" will appear. If a layout you
created before is on your screen, you will see a message
telling you to save your layout. Choose "Yes"
or "No" and proceed
- Choose the layout you would like to use from the "Layout
menu" dialog box.
- After clicking "yes", you will return to the
layout mode.
The Layout menu corresponds with the paper size used by your
printer. So if you do not have a printer driver installed in
your PC, or (for Windows users) you have not yet set up nor
chosen your main printer yet, or (for Macintosh users) you have
not yet chosen your printer drive at the selector dialog box,
the layout function may not work. So please choose your printer
driver in the "Printer setup" for Windows PCs and
in the "Selector" for Macintosh PCs. |

How can I place
captured or imported images in the layout window? |

Captured and imported images are automatically
added to an album.
At the "Choose album" menu, if you select any of your
albums, you are able to view a list of thumbnails of only still
pictures in the window below.
- Choose an album at the "Choose album" menu.
Thumbnails of the album content will appear below.
- Double click the thumbnail of the image you want to place
in the layout or you can simply drag and drop it on to the
layout.

How can I change
the size of the image placed on the layout. |
 |
 |
Click once on the image/picture you have placed
on the layout and 4 control points will appear on the edges.
You can drag any of the points to change the size.
If you press the shift key whiles dragging the control points,
you can change the size of the image proportionally without
distorting the image. |

How can I type
in letters/text? |
 |
 |
You can type in text and letters with the "Edit
text" button.
- Click the edit text button. The edit text window appears.
- Type message or letters directly in the "Text input
window"
- Click "OK" after you finish typing.

"Cannot
find Printer driver" message kept appearing on my screen.
What should I do? |
 |
 |
You may have to install a printer driver in your
PC. So please choose your printer driver in the "Printer
setup" for Windows PCs and in the "Selector"
for Macintosh PCs. |

How can I print
my images? I can't print images. |
 |
 |
When the layout menu is in "Title",
the print function is disabled. You cannot print in the "Title"
layout.
- Click the "printer" button.
- Follow the instruction settings of your printer and proceed
with printing.
(Please make reference to your printer's guidebook for setting
up your printer's driver.)

How can I send
my images by email? |
 |
 |
You can only send images as mails in the HAGAKI
( Post Card) layout. The "send mail" button does not
appear in the other layouts.
- Click the "Send Mail" button.
- Your mail software will then be activated. The image you
created will be added to your mail as an attachment. You
can then send your mail as usual.
(For inquires about your mail software, please ask your
mail software maker.)

How can I edit
images I've placed on the layout section? |

 |
- You can edit images by double clicking on it; or you can
select it and click the "edit image" button.
- The editing image mode will activate and you can then
edit your image.

How can I change
the font or text I typed on the layout section? |
 |
 |
- Click on the typed object (text) you placed or typed in
on the layout section.
- The "Edit text" dialog window will appear and
you can then make changes to the font size and content.

How can I change
the background color for the "Title" menu? |
 |
 |
The default colors for the "Title" menu
is black for Windows machine and Blue for Macintosh machines.
When you add a layout to the movie-editing mode, the black area
(in Windows machines) or the blue area (in Macintosh machines)
becomes transparent. |

Where are the
layouts I have created saved? |
 |
 |
For Windows PC users, your layouts are saved in
the (Userdata) folder inside the (HDD)-(Program Files)-(Pixela)-(Imagemixer)
folder.
For Macintosh PC users, your layouts are saved in the (Userdata)
folder inside the installed (Imagemixer) folder. |

Can I use the
layout I have created in other applications? |
 |
 |
You cannot use the layout you created in other
applications. You can only use it in Image Mixer. |

How can I activate
the grid option? |
 |
 |
You can activate the grid in the "create
new layer" mode.
- Click the "preference" button
- Type in the grid width (in pixel unit)
- Put a check on "Show grid"
- Click OK and return to layout section.

Can I edit templates? |
 |
 |
You cannot edit templates. Templates are the background
images Imagemixer provided you to use. |
